Ordering some more on Black Friday sale, so might as well write a review. Amazing comfort. Surprisingly well-fitting without any adhesive, just a snap. I still use a tampon sometimes as a safeguard to double it overnight the first day or two (got leftovers from before I bought those and a humongous flow), but that's because I sleep deeply and move a lot, yet I think the pad in itself would suffice. It's quite a bloody mess wherever you soak them before washing, but still worth it. Overall, it's a bargain when you consider how many disposable pads you'd use instead and it's SO much MORE comfortable down there! I bought two types to test it out, now ordering more heavy/overnight because I prefer them, but both are great!
Holly
These are an absolute must! I used to get a rash from regular pads and can't use tampons. These have made having a period not so bad. They are super absorbent and easy to clean.

Customer service over Facebook was great! There was a big mix up with shipping (problem with my countries courier system not eco period) which took ages to fix and eventually ended with it being shipped back to the company accidentally. Eco period were so good and replying and managed to locate it quickly when I got sent back to them and sent it out to me straight away at no extra cost!

Wish I had discovered these years ago. Really comfortable, much more comfortable than normal pads. Stay in place and don't leak. No smells. Easy to wash and no stains left. Hold more than a normal pad and feel dry all day. Will never go back to disposable pads, these are so much better.
Cinzia D.
I love them! They are so comfortable and soft, it's like cuddling your vagina while saving the planet from plastic, what else can you wish for?!
A friend recommended them to me and now I m convincing my other friends to make their periods eco-friendly. Spread the word and the love!
Stacy-Ann M.
From Canada and I will never turn back I still have disposable to use and I don't even want to finish using them. I have been changed. Worth it. Feels amazing for me.

I started using these pads about six months ago. I wanted to use them for a while before writing a review. I thought about it for a while before I bought them but I'm so happy I did! I love these pads! There so much better than the pads you use once and throw away and it's great to stop polluting the environment with regular pads. You don't feel these and they last really long. I only need two at the most each day. I always hated the diaper feeling of regular pads. And I'm saving a lot of money now that I don't buy pads at the store anymore. I do have to say they're a little uncomfortable when riding a bike. The little button is a bit painful then, but when you're not on a bike you don't feel it at all. I also didn't really like that it was written in capital letters on the package that there were menstrual pads inside. It's nothing to be ashamed of but I felt uncomfortable with it. If you're thinking about buying these pads, just buy them! You won't regret it! I bought a lot so I don't have to buy again for a while (I'll have to pay import taxes now Brexit is official).
Alya
These pads are incredible! I wish I had discovered them sooner. They are ultra-absorbant. I only need the pantyliners most days of my period, and the medium ones on 1-2 days. With the store-bought brands, I need X-large and they are never absorbant enought.
These pads are super-soft and comfortable. They absorb odors. And they are very cute. No more messy, itchy, smelly periods. Plus I find the black ones are psychologically comforting because you do not see so much color ;) I am very, very pleased with this purchase. Best thing I have bought in years.

I was very sceptical about these pads but every month I have an awful reaction to disposables no matter what type or brand I’ve tried another reason I was dubious was because I’m quite heavy and didn’t expect the pads to hold. Well when I had an unexpected trip to our local hospital with my daughter on one of my heavier days and was there 9 hours+ the pads exceeded my expectations! Even more so the fact that I was in the same pad all this time because I rushed out without grabbing a spare! No leaks, no dampness, no odour and no soreness!! I’m definitely converted and have ordered a few more so I can have them in my car and at work so I don’t get caught out again
Nancy
Overall great, though slightly thicker than normal pads and also other eco-friendly brands but easy to wash and clean.
Only downside is i've had my period seeping through the seam between the actual pad and the wing. So need to be careful if it moves too much.
Justine
I am soooo happy to have switched to reusable pads! I honestly wish I made the switch sooner, these are so much more comfortable and better quality! I bought the 6 pack panty liners (small) and they are honestly the most comfiest things ever . I barely notice them and forget I even have them on! I have been getting irritation and sores from using disposable plastic pads and panty liners, they often make me itchy and uncomfortable after hours of wearing.
I don’t feel any sort of discomfort with these and perfectly happy to wear them daily as panty liners ☺️. In fact I get excited to wear them on a daily because they are that comfortable and I feel secure and dry. No chafing or itchiness whatsoever and THERE IS NO SMELL! I personally got the white ones just so I can track any health issues.
Washing them is so easy too! I cold wash them by hand and add vanish stain remover which removes any stains straight away and leave to air dry. There is no smell at all, I’d advice to wash it and soak straight away after use .
I’ve bought more for my next period (the overnight and L/M ones) and will review it once I use that. These pads also fit better if your underwear is tighter or you wear cycling shorts/boxers over them during periods to keep them in place and avoid any leaks
Tammy C.
The most comfortable ever. Didn’t even notice them on. Just ordered myself another set
Vanessa R.
I’ve bought the random pack in black of 6 and so far I’m very pleased they are very very comfortable and feels nice int eh skin. I’m buying more since I like them so much as also I like to have more in stock in case I need to clean the used ones.
Alice G.
Just used them and washed them! They are very soft, way better than the regular pad, and easy to wash. I’d recommend the dark ones tho.
No leaks, even during the night but I’ve noticed it’s better using the fashion strips otherwise the pad moves (at least in my case while I was cross-legged on the couch) and unfortunately they leave some glue on the pad and on some underwear, depends on the fabric.
I also am so happy I can be more environment friendly.
A very nice alternative! I’d buy the eco pads again.
Charlotte F.
I’m not one to write reviews but as I wasn’t sure about these before I received them I thought I should. These pads are amazing, I have really heavy periods and I haven’t had one leak, I used to feel very uncomfortable in disposable pads, they’d crinkle up and give me rashes on my thighs, but these pads are so so comfortable it’s insane. It’s like one pain of periods has been removed. They’re easy to wash, I machine wash them at around 30 degrees and then dry them on a radiator and there isn’t a spot of blood on them! I had to get used to how the blood feels while wearing them as at first it can feel like it’s absorbed all it can but when you check there’s just a few spots. It just works differently to normal pads, took me a day to get used to and now I love them! Cannot recommend enough, make periods so much easier and snag 6-10 of these, depending on how frequently you wanna change pads!
Lisa
I bought the pads a while ago which are great. I bought some pants from a different company and recently bought more from eco period. The eco period pants are so much better and I now wear them out without even taking a backup pad as I trust them
Not to leak
Joey
I'll admit I was very skeptical about these at first but I looked more into them I decided to purchase! I wasn't sure which sizes to go for so to keep it safe I went for 2 bundles - 6 Medium and 6 Large and they both came with a wash bag.. (bonus)! These are so handy to store the clean ones in and the used in the other especially working long shifts. They fit perfectly for those light and heavy days. At first I wasn't sure about wearing them because they seemed a bit bulky but realistically there isn't much notice and you soon get used to them! They wash well. I rinse them off in the sink first until the water runs clear then wash them in a 40 degree wash with a little bit of washing powder for an hour and hey presto! Ready to go again. Hang to dry in my hot press. This photo was taken after the 3rd use/wash. I'm 31 and I highly recommend to all women whatever age you are.

I was so surprised by these period pads! They are so soft and comfortable! They are bigger and thicker than regular pads, but more absorbent and tidy. There was no mess even when I slept with these on or when I changed outside and had to use the wet bag. You probably can't wear leggings, but you'll be fine with everything else. Ordered some more, as well as some period pants. Can't wait to try them!

I love my whale design, I am a big whale fan, they are exactly like the pictures! They arrived quicker than I anticipated (I live in Spain). They seem like verrrry good quality, giving a good inspection I cannot fault the craftsmanship. The whale material seems like almost waterproof, which wasn't what I was expecting but made me feel more assured they'll keep things leak free.
I have yet to try them out, the only thing I'm concerned about is the length and thickness giving a feeling of bulkiness (I will update once I've tried them). I bought the normal/medium and they're longer than the medium disposable ones I get and thicker. I'm wondering if I could have gone for the smaller ones. My advice before buying compare the size of the pads you currently use with the sizing they have given (they are exactly the size advertised) for comparison Something I didn't do but think would have given me a better idea at what size I was getting.
Marie
I was a little sceptical at first because it seemed a bit short at the back, compared to normal night pads. Also i had some difficulties adjusting it to my underwear so that it would stay in place but if you have the same problem just choose a slightly bigger panty. Now I am super happy and can only recommend it. I used a period cup before but with my kind of contraception that is no longer possible. This is a perfect alternative and gives the same amount of safety and it can keep up with my heavy flow. Good job ecoperiod!!!
Scottlaine A.
I bought these on September-ish. The delivery was fast (1-2weeks) but I waited a month to give you guys my experience on how these products are! I bought the panties too and I just can say they are so awesome! Even the panties period dont leak or anything and I'm just in awe! Totally recommended !
Louisa B.
Just received mine. They look so good. I'm a bit confused as to what the white sticky strips are for?? I can't wait to try these out
Vickie
Excellent quality and so soft next to your skin- really pleased and can’t recommend enough!!!

Holy shit?! It's actually leak proof?! What kind of magic is this? When I used disposable pads, the moment my period officially begins, I put on an overnight pad to be safe because gravity makes the blood flow outside of regular pads when I sit, it either goes to the back of my underwear or stains the front. I was using the smallest size of these when it came, not too much blood normally, only pain, but it was in there for at least 10 hours. Normally, a regular pad that size would cause blood to stain the front of my underwear - with this? Nothing! I put the large size for the night, which I was worried about because the back of it didn't span as wide as my overnight disposable pads, and normally, even with overnight ones, sometimes I get a few leaks. And my blood definitely flows to the back and to the sides overnight. With this large reusable pad, the blood actually stayed in the middle of the pad, nothing on the sides, the backside, and the front?! There is some kind of sorcery here, I'm sure... but whatever it is, it's a good kind. And I actually don't feel wet unlike with disposables. There's no pressing feeling of needing to change the pad unless you're really pushing it to past 10 hours. It's so comfy, the only sign of me being on my period is the pain. I don't even get wedgies like you would with disposables
Fruzsina G.
I'm totally satisfied :) It works as well as they say!
Tara K.
I will admit I was sceptical, but thought I would take the plunge. I usually have very bad reactions to pads. Low and behold no reaction, comfy, oderless, easy to wash. I'm converted ☺️
Megan O.
I was a bit hesitant to try these, but the offer was so good I thought I may aswell. I've been using them for the first time this week and I'm really impressed! They stay put, are very comfortable, and not itchy/irritating like disposable pads are. I'm also surprised at how absorbent they are, I got the ones that have a black middle so you can't see how much blood is on there until you've rinsed it, which is also very easy! They also dry very fast and look good as new after going through the washing machine. Will definitely be recommending them to my friends!
JJ
Absolutely love these! First time trying reusable cloth pads and I'm never going back to disposables. These are SO comfy, I forget that I'm even on my period!! The popper to hold them in place is hardly noticeable and causes no issues whatsoever. I purchased the 6 pack (size long to avoid any leaks) which comes with a free wet bag. Perfect for days out/in the office. I only have to use 2-3 a day because they're SO absorbent (medium flow). My washing process is: a cold water pre-rinse followed by a quick hand wash with a laundry liquid for delicate fabrics which does the job perfectly. I then hang them up to dry in the sun and they look as good as new. It's also nice to know that you're doing your little bit for the environment by using these. I'll certainly be buying more!
Sadie K.
I love it and I'm relieved they don't look or feel bulky when I wear them but it 100% sucks that's I had to pay much more money bc I have a heavy flow. I can't do anything about that! So I'd say this is a great option if it's in your budget, otherwise you can get a menstrual cup at your drug store for much much cheaper.
Charlie R.
Very quick delivery even when it said it could take 15 working days.
I haven’t been able to wear tampons for various reasons and pads are always moving or giving me rashes.
Only on day two of using them and am so happy. Super comfy, easy to clean and saving the planet!!
NK
I love it! I was a little skeptical that it would hold against heavy flow but wow! No leaks even overnight! Also, I’m never going back to the disposable ones. These are so comfortable and I don’t feel the wet feeling I usually had during heavy flows when using disposable ones. No bad scents or anything too! I don’t have to worry about any allergic reactions now...those were so uncomfortable when I was using the plastic ones. I simply love these!
Ashley
I love these. They are breathable, absorbent, and comfy.
I cannot wear tampons, at all for a few reasons so i have to use pads and by the end of my period every month im irritated and have a bad rash/ yeast infection. This time i didn't have any of that. You don't notice them, they don't hold smell and you can wear it all day. Love love love
Alyssa
These are comfortable, sleek and easy to take care of. I was surprised at how long it took me to consider and make the switch to reusable pads. They are so comfortable, I hardly notice I am wearing one. I have not had a leak, even during sleep. I would 1000% recommend to anyone making the switch to reusable as they are simple and inexpensive (comparatively). YAY FOR HELPING THE PLANET!
Candice
Omg I'm never going back to disposable pads. These vag pillows are the softest thing my vagina ever touched. I use cloth diapers on my daughter because I think they're more comfortable for her so it was the logical thing for me to try these out too. Disposable pads give me rashes but once you get used to these being slightly thicker you can't even tell they're there because of how soft they are. I'm currently wearing them while having a miscarriage and I have not once leaked even with extremely heavy bleeding, not even at night. They stay in place great and are easy to see which one I need since each size is a different pattern.
If you're even contemplating buying these it's obvious that you can't be afraid of touching blood. Clean up is simple, just rinse them until water runs clear then throw in the wash. As a cloth diapering mama I've had to deal with a lot worse ♀️
100% recommend
Samantha
These hold more than you would expect. It has the perfect balance of heavier and lighter pads to get me through my cycle.
They are durable and easy to wash and have never stained any of the towels I wash them with. I just throw them in the shower with me and ring them out before tossing them in my hamper until wash day.
Izzy
For years, I was wasting money on crappy plastic pads that barely held up. Then I came across the concept of reusable pads. It sounds gross at first, but it's actually pretty cool. The first couple I bought were from another company.... and ridiculously expensive. About $40 or so for two. Then I stumbled upon this gold mine. Look, you're getting six different pads for barely $45. And the prints are super cute! Who knew I'd be smiling when I put on a pad?
Celeste
These are really truly amazing. I am not sure how to scientifically explain it, but I am pretty sure using these help to shorten my periods and lighten my flow.
These are very easy to clean. I hand wash so I can use them again the next day, but if anyone is weird around doing so, you can machine wash. I recommend air drying, or tumble dry on low/delicate.
these are also discreet. For those who use pads instead of tampons, you know what I mean. That "bulk" or "bunch up" that happens on plastic pads doesn't happen with these.
And it helps with odor control.
Overall, these are just great. I keep trying to force my sister and cousins to use it because its "healthier for your body and more natural blah blah blah" but really it just takes a lot of the stress, mess, and pain when its that time of the month.
Just give it a try, trust me!
Bella
We are new to these. My daughter was having issues with the disposable ones so decided to give these a try! She really like them, are easy to wear, and comfortable, and soft. Beautiful bright colors too! And come with a very cute bag!! And when wrapped they look like small coin bags, very discreet!
Julia
After decades of using disposable pads, I was very skeptical about cloth pads. They are so so absorbent, and I have no more problems with overflow (probably a little less) than I ever had with disposable pads.
Camila
Wish I had not waited more than 20 years to try reusables!!
They never leak, never feel wet, stay in place (although I'm certain the style and fit of underwear is important to this), don't smell like disposables do in a short time, and are easy to care for.
Grace
I've gone back and forth for years about buying reusable pads... I finally did it and this is what I purchased. After my first cycle with these, I'm beyond satisfied. Looking at them you'd think they were bulky, hot and awkward as I did. However, the material is so absorbent that they actually keep you cooler then a traditional single use pad! The snap hold them in place.
Hannah
Ok. I was very nervous getting these but after the 2nd use of these pads I would absolutely buy them again never going back to the disposable pads.
Lily
I was SUPER sceptical about trying these but after using them, 1 to 3 periods a month, since November (2019) I am starting to question if disposable pad companies are made up of money hungry people!!
Charlotte
I did not expect to love these as much as I do. A few years back I suffered a miscarriage and ever since then I’ve had very heavy periods every month, each lasting about 8-9 days. I got this pack thinking it could be a good experiment. I’m never going back to disposable pads. I feel like I could wear the large one for two of my heavy days straight and never bleed through. I have never trusted my menstrual products like this before. I know that I’m always covered and that peace of mind is something money can’t buy.
Sophia
I love these! They are super comfortable and I love that they are reusable. I don't worry at all overnight or during long days at work.
Lauren
I am a first time user of reusable pads & I am glad that I tried this product. I dont plan on going back to disposables. These are very comfortable.
Carolyn
I recently decided to stop using tampons (based on a terrifying documentary about the dangers of tampons) and I am becoming fanatical about decreasing my plastic usage so I ordered these to try. I will never go back to disposable pads! These are soooo comfortable and they can absorb a lot. I use the large ones at night and the medium ones during the day on my first 1-2 days then switch to the small ones. One lasts a whole day without leaks or smell. It is way more comfortable than plastic pads, which can stick to you especially in the summer or when exercising.
Eva
hese are excellent! I made the leap from disposable pads (I cannot use tampons) to these, and I'm never going back. As soon as I tried one on for the first time, I was sold, and knew I wasn't ever going back to disposables.
Larissa
I bought these for my teenage daughter because disposable pads started causing her to break out & she refuses to wear tampons, etc. & let me tell you what a relief getting these for her has been for me!!! No more fussing about how uncomfortable or sticky, no more mess from lack of absorption, no more breaking out or anything else that goes with using the store bought pads.
Michelle
I was really really hesitant at first. I thought they would be disgusting to use. But also thought these would be good to have around, in general if my preferred brand of disposable was out of stock, and especially because of COVID so that I can stay in the house more.
When I received them, I washed them in the laundry (air dried), and used them right away. These exceeded my expectations. They seem more absorbent and comfortable than disposable pads.
They are easy to wash and it’s not disgusting at all. I rinse them in the sink until it runs clear, then toss them in the laundry with the rest of the wash.
Amanda
Let me just say, if you are on edge about buying these just get them. These are great. I was very leery about trying these because I have the paragard iud and my period is ridiculously heavy Iean i would soak through an ultra tampon or large pad in 2 hours and if i didnt change right at the 2 hour mark or before I'd have to go home and change my pants. My flow is at its absolute heaviest right now and I'm on my second pad of the day and theres no leaking, no soak through the pad and the absorption is incredible. I have full trust in these pads. And they are so so comfortable and dont stick like disposable pads do so I'm not having to do a funny dance or walk to unstick.
Emilia
I bought these because I am sensitive to disposable pads where I get itchy. I do not use pads too much any more because I use the period cup for a couple of years now, but I like to use pads here and there because I feel like it some days, or I use panty liners when my period is super light and I don’t need to use the cup.
The pads are great, absorbs super well, on my heavy flow, I rarely felt myself leaking or the blood coming out because it absorbed that quick.
Caroline
I was a bit skeptical about this product, but really wanted to find a way to not create so much waste with disposable pads. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how much, and how well this product absorbed. I used one in place of a tampon at home and I felt no moisture all evening. The pad didn't shift or leak, but boy did it absorb quite a bit of "flow."
Anna
This has seriously changed my period game on an all-new level! I love knowing that there are no chemicals that could potentially be harmful to my body like normal plastic pads. Plus, they are eco-friendly, and MUCH more comfortable to wear! They come in cute prints and are surprisingly super absorbent. I feel dry for hours at a time and don't feel the need to change pads every hour like I used to when I used plastic pads.
Claire
I absolutely love these and it was the very best decision I have EVER made. I have stag 4 endometriosis and PCOS and I have been changing products to help with pain and not have the bleached products inside me or touching in sensitive areas. So these reusable pads are amazing and hold a lot.
Stella
I love these! They are a lot more comfortable than disposal pads, and I don't have a diaper rash at the end of my period since I started using these. Cleaning them is so easy, just toss in the washer to rinse before throwing in regular laundry. It might be in my head, but it does feel like my periods are shorter and I'm not as crampy as I would get with disposal pads and tampons.
Lillian
I love these pads! They are soft and comfortable to wear. They do not have the plastic feel of Synthetic pads, so even though they feel like a pillow between my thighs, they are relaxing and breathable. The overnights are very comforting because of their large coverage. The medium a perfect for day wear activity. And small are nice for the very last days. The small are also okay in yoga pants.
Ashley
I suffer from extreme sensitivity to a lot of things. I have to be careful of what detergent and soaps that I use. Can't use scented tampons or sanitary pads. I've had yeast infections from certain brands of tampons and also get "diaper rashes" when I wear any type of pad. I dread my period every month because of this, so I was excited to try something different. I am so glad that I bought these! They are SO soft against my skin and also very absorbent.
Mia
After having horrible allergic reactions to disposable sanitary pad products, I decided to try out cloth pads. I’m happy I did and will never go back!
Katherine
I really am pleased with these. I've been using cloth diapers on my kids for 4 years, so I don't know why it took me so long to realize that I should be using cloth pads for myself, too! And now I see why the babies like the cloth diapers better and why they basically only get diaper rash when they are wearing disposables for a long time (like when we are traveling).
Isabella
I am so in love with these! I used them for the first time this week and just got done washing them and everything seems great! The main reason I purchased these was to reduce the waste created by disposable pads, but I love them for so many more reasons. They are 10x more comfortable than any other period product I have used. Better than commercial pads because I feel like everything can breathe. Just wearing them is more comfortable than regular pads. The fact that it's not taped to my underwear means I can adjust it to the perfect place and it stays in place pretty well, better than when the adhesive comes undone with regular pads. Plus the bag that comes with it is great for storing both new and used pads when in public. After placing a used pad in the bag and zipping it shut, I tested it and didn't detect any smell!
Wen
After using for a while, I'm pretty sure I'm not using disposable pads ever again. Very comfortable, absorbent, and cleaner. No chemicals, no leaks, no more waste. Beautiful patterns. Definitively recommended.
Simone
I must say, I'm really loving these cloth pads! I feel they hold more then a regular pad. I use to change pads almost every 2 to 3 hours (with the 8 hour pads). Going though around 6 pads a day. With these, I only use maybe 3 a day and it feels super dry and soft throughout the use. I think I only change it out of habit and just knowing how heavy I flow. But I may just need 2 or 1 a day.
Emily
The color is beautiful, everything matches the description. Delivery was fast.
Ema
They are of excellent quality! Well sewn!
Mary
Arrived very fast. The quality is excellent. I will definitely buy more.
